Eskişehir is a city that was known as a hot water region in some periods of history. The Greek writer Athenaus, who lived in the 200s BC, also mentioned Eskişehir in one of his books, mentioning the hot water that can be drunk. Thermal spring facilities are spread both in the center and districts of the city.
